I have two varieties of bitters made with fresh chamomile! One is best for before a heavy meal, and one is better after.
The first is a blend of liver stimulating herbs with the chamomile, to consume prior to feasting on rich, heavy foods. This gets your digestive juices flowing to better break down fats and proteins. It basically never hurts to give your liver some love, and these bitters include dandelion, burdock and yellow dock.
The second is a blend of carminitive herbs for after a meal that causes indigestion, bloating and general fartiness. These bitters have fennel, cardamom, coriander and orange peel. Not only are these super tasty together, but they are pretty fast acting to get rid of that uncomfortable feeling.
Both are very small batches and there are only a few 1 oz bottles of each available!
